Vocational Education & Skill Development

Since 2004, CCF with the collaboration of International labour Organization (ILO) and Skill Development Council (SDC) has been running a prevocational training program for children in its schools. Under this program 35 skill and vocational training centers were set up. These centers completed their 6 months cycle during which 927 girl children were provided training in cutting, stitching, embroidery, sewing, making jam and jelly etc. At present one vocational center is working with cooperation of local communities and 20 deprived girls getting training in various trades. CCF has so far set up 36 vocational centers in different districts of Punjab and imparted skill development training to 947 underprivileged girls to become economically empowered women.

Teachers Training Programs

Professional training for teachers is the integral part of our teachers training programs. Effective delivery of education also enables children to be tolerant, self disciplined and good human beings. In this regard, CCF frequently organizes various training workshops for teachers training in collaboration with local partners like STEP, FFF and others. In Oct 2011, CCF/ FFF jointly organized a 4 days Teachers Training Workshop at Sangla Hill School by Ali Institute of Education (AIE) Lahore to enhance its teachers teaching and management skills and to introduce to them effective methods of quality education.
